Salary: up to £50,056.00 (depending on level of experience, training and qualification)

Senior Physiotherapist 

Full Time - Permanent

This is a full time role for 37.5 hours a week. 

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Minimum of 2 years post qualification Physiotherapy experience.
  • A qualification at degree level (or equivalent) in Physiotherapy
  • Registered with the Health Care Professions Council (HCPC)
  • Ability to communicate effectively, locally within the physiotherapy team and within the wider MDT.
  • Ability to implement and adapt protocols and treatment to safely and optimally manage patient care.
  • Ability to work under time pressures.
  • Excellent problem solving and decision making skills.
  • 5 yrs qualified, 
    Previous band 6 job role or current band 7.
  • Used to leading in service training for physio team
  • To clinically lead in physiotherapy
  • Physiotherapy Degree
  • Member of the CSP
  • Right to work in the UK

Duties of this role include:

  • Providing individualised, evidence-based care to patients.
  • Promoting strategies to improve health outcomes with patients and colleagues.
  • Supporting and liaising with the wider MDT including consultants, nursing staff, pharmacy staff, radiology staff, and the physiotherapy outpatient team.
  • To ensure that standards of patient care are consistently maintained at all times in accordance with agreed operational policies and procedures.
  • Working to maintain and enhance the customer service and satisfaction of service users.
  • Promote and safeguard the well-being and interests of all patients, employees and visitors.
  • Prepare and maintain clinical records of patient care, with reference to The Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) standards for records and record keeping.
  • Conduct yourself professionally within the standard and framework provided by the Chartered Society of Physiotherapists (CSP) and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) Codes of professional Conduct.
  • To act as an advocate for patient care, searching for ways to improve the value and effectiveness of care and services delivered.
  • Encouraging the development of research and audit based clinical practice.
