Salary Up to £24.00 per hour

Circle Health Group has an exciting opportunity for a SACT Nurse to join our friendly and motivated team of staff working on the hospital Oncology department.

This is a bank role working on an “as and when required” basis, you will be required to supplement staffing levels during busy periods and provide cover for existing staff in times of annual leave or absence.

Applicants should meet the following criteria:

  • Registered Nurse Level 1 / Diploma / BSc in Nursing. Or
  • Registered Nurse Level 2  - Relevant Competencies for the role.
  • Experience in medical oncology i.e management of side effects, treatment, diagnosis. 
  • Willingness to develop or already hold:
  • Advanced communication skills
  • Teaching experience
  • Excellent organisation and multitasking skills required.
  • Understanding on workload and shift management.
  • Patient and caring approach to customer care
  • UKONS/chemotherapy trained

Duties of this role include:

  • Required to work closely with both Medical and Surgical Oncologists
  • Prepare and maintain clinical records of patient care, with reference to Nursing Midwifery Council (NMC) standards for records and record keeping.
  • Conduct yourself professionally within the standard and framework provided by the NMC Codes of professional Conduct and the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
